This is what I had for breakfast today.
  • Scottish Steel-Cut Oatmeal with ground flax seed and dried blueberries
  • a whole bunch of fruit
  • Veggie sausage (some protein?)
  • and, today only, a tasty, tasty scone
Minus the scone (it was dried cherry and vanilla bean! How could I resist?) this is what I've been eating for breakfast for the past week or so. And? Stopping for a better breakfast really seems to make a difference in the way I feel all day.

I had oatmeal today, too. First time in about 6 months. Drinking too much coffee is much more satisfying to the extremist in me, but a good breakfast does set up the day better. Why can't we just take a pill?
